Hi, I'm Eden, the owner and designer of Gaia. Growing up in Loveland, I've been in the hair industry for a decade, driven by my passion for extensions. Having fine hair that couldn't reach my desired length, I sought to master extensions myself, earning my certification on the same day I got my license. My career has largely focused on this specialty, along with blonding, which I taught myself through YouTube when it wasn't part of my school curriculum. For the past eight years, I've operated independently, moving between various locations in Fort Collins. Four years ago, I discovered the perfect space for what is now Gaia, initially opening under the name Eden and Ivy with a different aesthetic. As my life evolved, so did my salon, transforming from black walls to soothing sage and replacing dead flowers with amaranth and wisteria.

At my first salon, I formed a close friendship with a woman who supported me throughout my journey. Her passing in 2022 prompted significant spiritual changes within me, inspiring me to infuse her energy into this space, creating a haven of peace and healing. We chose the name Gaia in her honor, as she always and still is connected to Mother Earth.
